About GasDex
GasDex is an unofficial, fan-run home page for Bristol Rovers — everything worth knowing about the Gas, gathered onto one fast page. News from every outlet, official club announcements, YouTube highlights and podcasts, results, fixtures, the League Two table, and the bits the fans make themselves: match reports from the terraces and a Man of the Match vote after every game.
How it works
The site looks after itself. Feeds are checked and the page rebuilt every half hour. There's no editorial team and no publishing schedule — if something Rovers-related happens, it shows up here shortly afterwards. The one human touch: fan match reports are read by an actual person before they're published.
The fan content
After every match, fans can pick their Man of the Match (one vote per fan, closes 48 hours after full time) and submit a match report. The vote is counted and published automatically; reports are reviewed first — see the house rules on the submission page. Over a season these build into a running record of what it was actually like to follow Bristol Rovers, written by the people who were there. For full marks-out-of-ten player ratings, the GasChat thread has that covered.
Before each match there's the other half of it: Predict the Score, on the front page. The box opens three days before kick-off and closes when the game starts, and one browser gets one scoreline. Nobody sees the most popular pick until full time — showing it early would only pull everyone towards the same answer — and then the box reveals it alongside the real result, how many fans called it exactly, and how the season is going.
And for the league season there's Pirate Pick: before every League Two match you pick a defender, a midfielder and a forward, and the rarer the pick, the bigger his day. Goals and assists only, monthly and season tables, no account needed — and bragging rights are the whole prize.
All of it hangs off one thing: your GasDex code, a random string your browser keeps. It's not an account — no email, no password — but save it and your votes and picks follow you to any device.

GasDex is not affiliated with Bristol Rovers FC. All club names and trademarks belong to their owners. Match data via TheSportsDB and Sportmonks. Headlines and videos link to their original publishers — we aggregate, we don't republish. Fan reports are the views of their authors, not of GasDex (though between us, they're usually right).
